Signal Officer

signal officer, n. — the officer who watched the field from a signal station and sent what he saw by flag, and by torch after dark.

The American Civil War, at the size of your table.

Seventeen battles from the sources, from First Bull Run (First Manassas) to Franklin, cut into sixty-five engagements, each with its ground, both orders of battle, the men in command and the objectives on one sheet. And a theatre — Maryland, July 1863 — that builds a new action every time you ask. Any table, any rules.

What is in it

Seventeen battles, sixty-five engagements

The great battles are too big for any table, so each is cut into the engagements a table can hold, in the order they were fought. Each is a game on its own; the result of one says what comes next.
